The acrylic painting “Intraverse 1” is a painting about an inner world that becomes a universe. The woman at the centre of the composition is calm, focused and serene. She is surrounded by an abstract space full of colour, light and symbols that intertwine like thoughts and emotions. The realistic depiction of the woman contrasts with the background, so that she becomes the axis of her own world – the point around which everything revolves.
The title combines two words: intra – meaning “inside” – and universum – “universe”. This gave rise to a new definition of a woman’s world – a world that does not exist outside, but is born within. It is an allegory of introspection, reflection and creative energy. Because it is there, within, that what is truest comes into being. What is more, “Intraverse 1” was born of the need to show that every woman carries a whole universe of thoughts within her.
The colour palette is varied, yet harmonious. In addition, the abstract elements resemble orbiting planets or a flow of energy, emphasising the idea of an inner cosmos. The woman remains at the centre – not as an isolated figure, but as a source of light and meaning.
“Intraverse 1” is the story of a woman who knows her world and is able to stay steady within it. Even though chaos surrounds her, she finds balance in it. That is exactly why the painting symbolises the power of introspection – the ability to find beauty and meaning within oneself. Every part of it, from the delicate brushstrokes to the contrast between the background and the figure, creates a space where silence meets colour, and thought meets emotion.
The painting pairs perfectly with spaces where emotion and calm matter. It suits bright interiors, natural materials and warm light. It brings an atmosphere of reflection, while adding depth and energy to an interior.

Exhibitions
The painting was shown at two of the artist’s solo exhibitions. The first took place in September 2022 at the Municipal Cultural Centre in Tomaszów Mazowiecki. The second exhibition was held in January 2023 at the Dom Kultury “Śródmieście” cultural centre in Białystok
