Terms and conditions of the dziejma.art website and online shop
These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the dziejma.art website and the conditions for placing orders for original paintings and other artworks.
1. Seller details

2. Nature of the shop
The online shop makes it possible to buy original paintings and other artworks. Each work may differ slightly from the photographs shown on the website (colours, texture), which is a natural feature of works of art.
3. Placing orders
- Orders can be placed via the basket on the website or by contacting me directly (email).
- To place an order, the details necessary for delivery must be provided.
- After placing an order, the Customer receives a confirmation at the email address provided.
4. Prices
- All prices shown on the website are gross prices.
- The price shown for a given product at the time the order is placed is binding.
- The cost of delivery is stated separately.
5. Payments
Available payment methods:
- traditional bank transfer,
- online payments – if available on the website.
6. Shipping and delivery
- Shipping is available within Poland and abroad – on terms agreed individually.
- Every work is packed by hand with due care.
- Approximate dispatch time: 2–7 working days (unless stated otherwise in the description).
7. Right of withdrawal (returns)
- A Customer who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the parcel, without giving any reason.
- To exercise the right of withdrawal, please send notice of your decision by email.
- The work should be sent back unaltered and properly protected.
- The refund is made after the returned painting has been received.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to works made to individual order (e.g. commissioned portraits).
7a. Original paintings – special terms
Original paintings are unique works of art, so the following terms apply:
- Each painting is made by hand and exists in a single copy only.
- Slight differences in colour between the photograph and the actual appearance of the painting are natural and result from monitor settings and lighting.
- Works of art may show characteristic features of the creative process (paint texture, brushstrokes, canvas structure). These do not constitute defects.
- Returns of original works: Given the unique nature of the work, the Customer is responsible for packing the painting properly for return. Damage caused by improper packing may result in a reduced refund or refusal to accept the return.
- Paintings created as part of limited series or collections are also treated as single-copy originals.
8. Complaints
- If a parcel arrives damaged, please contact me without delay and send photographs of the damage.
- Complaints should be submitted by email: magdalena@dziejma.art.
- Complaints are dealt with within 14 days.
9. Use of the website
- The User undertakes to use the website in accordance with the law and good practice.
- Any actions that could disrupt the operation of the website are prohibited.
10. Copyright
All paintings, photographs and content available on dziejma.art are protected by copyright. Copying or using them without the author’s consent is prohibited.
11. Liability
I am not liable for interruptions in the operation of the website resulting from technical reasons or the actions of third parties.
12. Final provisions
- Matters not covered by these Terms and Conditions are governed by Polish law.
- These Terms and Conditions may be updated; the latest version is always available on the website.
