I was inspired to create this painting by observing just such a moment: a gesture full of delicacy, but also of strength. In this way, I wanted to capture this inner dance of emotions — between calm and longing, between silence and movement. Because solitude does not have to mean emptiness. Sometimes it is precisely what allows us to truly meet ourselves. On the one hand there is dance here; on the other, a powerful emotion lies hidden within it. That is why the painting means something more.

The figure of the woman floating in blue and turquoise tones symbolises thoughts that flow freely — like waves carrying dreams. Cool shades and delicate light create a harmonious composition full of lightness. The painting has a softness and calm that carry over into the space where it hangs.
